Specializing in luxury residential interiors, Elizabeth Krueger has honed an aesthetic that’s both streamlined and striking...in other words, so Chicago. Drawing from a texture-driven arsenal—natural stone surfaces, bronze and brass accents, sheer panels at the window and cozy rugs underfoot—Krueger’s firm creates rooms that are nice to look at and even nicer to live in. “I like to take the clean, warm and architectural elements and add a little funk with a found piece or unexpected art installation,” the designer says.
