What’s a designer to do when they feel the pull of chic and serene touches in a city that favors laid-back luxe? The team at Heather Scott Home & Design have mastered the balance, accenting neutral backdrops and classic upholstery with pops of personality in the form of art and accessories. “Vacation homes are always a treat because the clients are more willing to take risks,” says the firm’s co-owner and principal designer, Raquel Skrobarczyk. “We're looking forward to our next mountain or beach home!”
