Aegis 17" Alabaster Table Lamp

Light becomes part of the material expression in the Aegis collection by Sean Lavin, where a sculptural brass shade appears to hover above a substantial base. The contrast between the slender upper profile and grounded form creates a composition that feels elemental yet precisely resolved, allowing material and illumination to share equal focus. A solid brass shade crowns a body of natural alabaster, with a black fabric-wrapped cord completing the tailored construction. An integrated 2700K LED light source is concealed behind a glass diffuser beneath the shade, washing the alabaster with a graduated light that draws attention to the stone’s inherent depth, veining, and translucency. A three-step touch dimmer allows the illumination to be easily adjusted. The 17" Aegis Alabaster Table Lamp offers a substantial yet composed accent for bedside tables, consoles, and living areas, where the natural character of alabaster gives each piece a singular material presence.
